Hi, Lance here. The one who builds the chairs and other furniture in Saegerville. The chair guy to some, dad to a couple others and husband
to the most patient woman, Mrs. Saegerville. I'd like to think I'm someone who always smells like one of the finest of conifers but leaves the sawdust out of the house (or at least tries). Thank you for taking the time to visit Saegerville Cedar online.

I made my first chair in 2002 after the completion of a fire pit landscaping project in my backyard. Those collapsible camp chairs made it very difficult to enjoy a fire without getting up and having back pain. I found a pattern in a book from the library, made some modifications after the first chair, and didn't look back. My spine has been thanking me ever since. Since then I've designed my own version of a side table, added cup holders to another version of that table that are versatile enough to hold my beer and my wife's wine glass. I then took it further and made the table into a cooler. The foot rest was next. A design I drew up to match the curve of the chair seats. The ideas never stop.

One of many, and I mean many, fire pits outfitted with Saegerville Cedar in the Twin Cities. This one is right down the road in Eagan, MN.

I'm a one man show working out of the best smelling garage in Eagan, MN. A place where the power tools stop at 10 pm, as the neighbors have also become customers. The light stays on late though, as I build quietly. It's a little chilly in winter but that helps my beer stay cold.

I sold my first chair through Craigslist in 2005 and I continue to utilize this free service to keep costs down. Word of mouth is inexpensive so I rely on that just as much. I'm always looking to build something new so check back often as a newly designed chair or other cedar item may appear at any time. Thanks again for visiting this fine smelling corner on the internet. I hope to hear from you and build you a chair that will help your pants smell better.
